is it anyone that knows if the game will cost a monthly anount of money to play?
or is it like guild wars where you just need to buy the game?

PlayNC has not announced a set cost for the game or a monthly fee, if there even is any. If you had been following some news, the Tabula Rasa beta sign-up has been up (and maybe closed) and around the April/May time (according to a Dev article) the Beta should actually begin. From experience, Betas can last a while so even after Beta has started and is done, don't expect an answer immedietly about costs, etc. Games like these take a long time to get complete and bugs worked out so it will take a while to have the information many of us want.
